Trust your hunches more, I've heard it often said, that one's first instinct is often the right one. Case in point, hydraulic telescopic urinals. One apparently just crushed a man. What space were they trying to save anyway? Was there a premium of the six or seven feet above the thing? Perhaps, the space saving came from the transportation of the things. Maybe, one could stack more of them together when they're in their contracted position, which seem to make sense now. However, who's willing to use one now? Just give me a half gallon wide mouth orange juice bottle and I'll take it from there.
I wonder if anyone criticized these contraptions on social media and got static for doing so? If such a person existed, they were perhaps, called a conspiracy theorist, a disinformation purveyor and some such rot. I think I'll pass at using one of these from now on as it seems to be not a very quick and painless death at
