It almost worked too and as weak as the citizens of western nations have become, they somehow managed to dodge that enslavement bullet. The Canadians and American right of center managed to make some waves and the cowardly deep state decided to relent. It won't be that easy next time around.

The western masses are too distracted by leisure, pleasure, comfort and convenience, to rise up next time. They'll just keep working their useless government jobs, "working" from home couchsurfing and getting their Netflix programming. Perhaps, nuclear winters aren't such a tragedy, after all.
