The lockdown is a very profitable business for the few.

I won't lie, it has not hurt my business. None the less, I want to see everyone who is willing to apply themselves profit. Also he is no longer the richest, Elon Musk has surpassed him.

That's where a lot of my income is coming too, hosting, cloud services, virtual private servers, the pandemic has accelerated the move of things into virtual space. But unlike Microsoft, my services are fast, robust, and secure. Nobody gets deplatformed here, not even libtards.

Looks like many people are making their own sites to stop relying on big tech, but going to Microsoft is not a good idea. I know some journalists and video creators who started their own sited because of big tech censorship.

I have my own servers, address space, domain names, etc. I started the friendica and hubzilla nodes after getting kicked off of Farcebook for the 3rd time, two days ago I got booted from there for another 30 days for merely suggesting the existence of a free home covid-19 test, just mail a stool sample and I provided Nancy Pelosi's address. Not sure what aspect of Fuckerberg's "community standards" I violated, but I'm absolutely sure I don't care.

I've just finished installing MX Linux on my computer because I broke my Manjaro install. MX Linux is based on Debian Stable and feels a lot like Debian but it detected my drivers out of the box and it has some maintenance software called MX Tools. I don't know why Arch based distros make my PC freeze in dual boot with Windows. Arch is a lot more bleeding edge but Debian is rock stable. I like the AUR (Arch Users Repository) on Arch based distros because you can find any app there if it's not in the main repo.

I have a MX Linux shell server and a Manjaro shell server but most of my infrastructure is Ubuntu. The MX Tools are graphical equivalents of various Debian command line tools and for the most part they just call them, apt, dpkg, etc, to get the work done. MX can be run with or without systemd, that is one nice aspect of it, but they are really opposed to any 3rd party software on their platforms, which is an aspect of MX I do not like. By contrast, Ubuntu is extremely friendly to 3rd party even going so far as to provide free private repositories.

Yes, Ubuntu is more enterprise and it's most often the choice for servers. Facebook is so horrible that I find it hard to believe people still insist to use it. All the Silicon Valley companies are cancer.

Question: What are you guys are doing with all the technology you are discussing?
Its only fair to disclose mine, I maintain 4 Debian (latest) BIND service stacks on two different continents because I am paranoid of the public DNS space. ICANN, Google, Cloudfare, I am paranoid all of them.
I have a list of infrastucture stack from email to database to directories - because I am paranoid of all the others BESIDES of the DNS space above..
I am building a Luxury Liner of services for a few kindred spirits who live next door to me, but a Galaxy away because that is what it means to be a conservative citizen. Everyone is hiding from you because you are charged with every imaginable crime without any chance to defend yourself.
So, again - what are we doing with all these capacity to stop the madness over "systemic racism" and all the other nonsense making ordinary people into world-class villains. How could we use all this technology to show that we have never conceived any crimes against races or against individuals - or at least we NEVER followed through..
I refuse to believe that the purpose of Hubzilla, and other related projects is Hubzilla, and other related projects.

Well, a bit of background, when the Internet first officially became available to the public was in 1991 when the Stockton CIX was formed. I ordered Sprint T1's and was the eight company to get access and be on the Internet. The seven that proceeded me have all changed ownership or went out of business so at present I am the oldest ISP still on the Internet under original ownership. There are a few others that started their companies earlier but were not on the Internet until later, and technically I started a company as a Unix Timeshare service in 1985, so already had an Internal TCP/IP network which made getting on the Internet easy.
Before my involvement with the Internet, I had an involvement in pirate radio. I've always been an advocate of free speech. I believe it's better to get all ideas out on the table and look at an issue from all angles, even if some people get butt-hurt in the process, in the end better decisions are made.
I've operated a NextCloud instance for several years but with this last election coup, after getting kicked off of Facebook for the third time I decided to put up a friendica node, and then a hubzilla node. I am working on other capabilities.
As far as pay for services we offer Linux shell accounts on about a dozen different Linux distros, one account provides access to all of them, as well as virtual private servers and web hosting. All shell accounts also include e-mail, Usenet News, and access both via ssh and various full remote desktop means including RDP, VNC, X2go, and via the web. You can see the services I offer at
https://www.eskimo.com/
. If you compare the time it takes wordpress to load on my site, verses any other I think you'll see that I have an eye towards quality, a wordpress site loads in about 280ms on my service, I haven't found any other that load in less than 640ms and most in 2-3 seconds. All customer data including VPS is on RAID. All data is backed up weekly in addition to RAID and every couple of months off site as well.
You can view our service offerings at

For a free trial of our Linux shell accounts, apply at:

Our nextcloud service is free at

, friendica at

, and hubzilla at

We don't deplatform anyone as long as you keep it legal, i.e., no child pornography or other illegal materials.
