This critique suffers from misquoting the Manifesto and ascribing positions to Marx that he never took. Even if you're anti-Marx it is a poor reflection of the position. Quite embarrassing that he doesn't really know the source material.
In commenting, I make no judgement on being pro-Marx or anti-Marx -- it's just shoddy work.

Since I don't speak German, I can't comment on Marx original work, but I can comment that many of his supporters espouse exactly those positions that Jordan Peterson describes.
My own take is that humans aren't productive without incentive and thus ANY system that equalizes outcome insures that outcome is near zero.

All I'm saying is that if you are critiquing something specific like a document (and he allegedly is), you should quote the material and not make stuff up. My critique is of Peterson being not very good, not the position he's taking -- I'm not getting into that debate.

Since his talk was given in the English language, any quotation of the material would not be understood except for a minority of bilingual individuals who happen to speak German, and although you assert that his representation of the document is incorrect, many Marx proponents espouse exactly those values so how is it they and Peterson both got it wrong in the same way?
